STUNNING HAND-CARVED BALDAQUIN

A Forêt favorite.  This 18th century hand-carved round wooden element is adorned with two continuous bands of intricately carved giltwood leaves on painted ivory ground.  It was originally used as a ceiling canopy, but would also make a beautiful centerpiece or planter.  Excellent condition.  A few character cracks due to age.  (FS)
