Here is a stunning example of a Swedish tall case clock in robin’s egg blue. The hand carving and proportions are exquisite. The white face is painted with stylized numerals and reads “MORA”, the town in Sweden from which this clock originated. The face is surrounded by a molded bezel and topped by a beaded crest. The neck is articulated with an arch of carved reeding. The elongated proportion of the body is emphasized by an intricately carved guilloche (interlocking circles) pattern. The lower section has incised carved edging and sits on a molded base. Original blue paint. Comes with clockworks.
